Interactive Brokers Rated #1 Online Broker by Barron's for the Fourth Year in a Row

Interactive Brokers Group, Inc. (NASDAQ GS: IBKR) was awarded top honors in Barron's 20th annual ranking of Best Online Brokers, rated number one for the fourth year in a row.
In the 2015 review, Barron's compared 18 online brokers, evaluating participants from the viewpoint of the wealthy, active trader across eight categories of service including Trading Technology, Usability, Mobile, Range of Offerings, Research Amenities, Portfolio Analysis & Reports, Customer Service, Education & Security, and Costs.
IB ranked above all of the competition for a fourth consecutive year. According to Barron’s, “we believe [Interactive Brokers] is an appropriate brokerage experience for intermediate to advanced investors and traders who want to stay engaged in the markets.” Interactive Brokers was also rated Low Cost Broker by Barron’s for the 11th year in a row. “Low costs are a key component of trading, and Interactive’s price-improvement statistics are impressive,” notes Barron’s. IB “boasts the lowest margin fees” among brokers included in this year’s survey.
In addition to taking the number one spot overall this year, IB received top marks in a number of sub-categories, including Best for Options Traders, Best for Frequent Traders and Best for International Traders by Barron's.
