Spain: The flash estimate of CPI annual variation stood at -0.7%

The estimated CPI in March 2015 annual inflation is 0.7%, according to the

leading indicator developed by the INE.

This indicator provides a preview of IPC that, if confirmed, would be a

increase of four tenths in the annual rate, since in February this variation was

-1.1%.

This increase is mainly explained by the rise in fuel prices

(diesel and petrol).



For its part, the annual variation of HICP flash is in March at the

-0.7%. If this information is confirmed, the annual rate of HICP increase five tenths respect

the previous month.



Evolution of the monthly rate

Consumer prices in March recorded a rate of 0.6% compared to February,

as the leading indicator of CPI
