Fixed or Variable TP/SL

Hello everyone. By the thread name I mean, when choosing a tp/sl do you always use the same amount every trade or you change it every trade depending on different things? An example, do you always use 200pip TP and 150pip SL every trade or do these numbers change trade to trade? Im asking because I see some people use fixed amounts every trade but others using different amounts and would like to hear the reasoning behind both sides. Thanks.
